Lablift IV—200' Class Liftboat: General Description

The LabLift IV is a 200' class self-propelled jack-up or liftboat built in July 2001 by Conrad shipyard, MIF Shipyard. Its hull size is 111x67x10x200 with a maximum draft 7.65 (at midship).

It has Two (2) Catepillar 3412TA diesel engines w/Twin Disc MG516 reduction gears with 5:1 ratio and has a working deckload capacity 997,562 lbs. (variable); 800,000 with full consumables. The deck area is 5,000 sq. ft.

The boat has two cranes: a main: Ram Model 125 Ton w/100’ boom & anti-two block powered by CAT 3406 diesel engine (air cooled), and an aux: RAM 25 ton Telescoping 70’ Boom.

The boat has quarters for thirty-six (36) men in addition to marine crew of 7: Two (2) VIP stateroom with private shower and head; Two (2) lounge and recreational area; Two (2) sets of 3 showers and heads.
