Lablift III—175' Class Liftboat: General Description

The LabLift III is a 175' Class self-propelled jack-up, liftboat, or self-elevating service vessel built in 1998. Its hull size is 98' x 50' x 9' x 175' with a maximum draft, 6' 8" (at midship).

It has two (2) General Motors 12V-92TA Diesel engines with twin disc MG514 reduction gears with 5:1 ratio and has a working deckload capacity of 506,000 lbs. (variable load). The deck area is 3,500 sq. ft.

The boat has two cranes, the main: Ram Model 100 ton w/100' boom & anti-two block powered by GM V-8-92TA Diesel engine (air cooled); the Aux: Nautilus 10 ton Model 35B4-70.

The boat has quarters for twenty-six (26) men in addition to marine crew of 4; one (1) VIP stateroom; one (1) lounge and recreational area; four (4) showers and heads.
