Lablift II—140' Class Liftboat: General Description

The LabLift II is a 140' Class self-propelled jack-up, liftboat, or self-elevating service vessel built in 1981. Its hull size is 80' x 46' x 8' x 140' and has a maximum draft of 5' (at midship).

It has twin Detroit Diesel 12V-71 main engines and has a working deckload capacity at 300,000 lbs. (variable load). The deck area is 3,400 sq. ft.

The boat has two cranes: One (1) Bucyrus-Erie MK-60 with 52.5 ton 100' long boom at 20' and whip line hoist of 6 tons at 70'; and One (1) Gallon 15 ton crane with 60' telescopic boom.

The boat has quarters for 25 men in addition to marine crew of 4; one VIP stateroom; one lounge and recreational area; four showers and heads.
