Lablift I—105' Class Liftboat: General Description

The LabLift I is a 105' Class self-propelled jack-up, liftboat, or self-elevating service vessel. This 3 leg liftboat was built in 1978. It has twin Detroit Diesel 12V-71 main engines and has a working deckload capacity at 125,000 lbs. (50 long tons--variable load). The deck area is 1,968 sq. ft. (50' x 32').

The boat has two cranes, an Alaska--rated at 25 tons with telescoping boom length of 70', and an Otis--rated 10 tons with fixed boom length 50'.

The boat has quarters for 18 men in addition to the marine crew of 4. There is one VIP stateroom, one lounge and recreational area, four showers and heads.
